    Light-shedding articles on domestic violence. It’s a good feeling that our communities are recognizing the need to voice out the pains of many suffering in silence. There’s the adage that says, “Silence is golden”. Yes, that’s true. However, silence might not be golden in times when there’s a perpetrator involved. Islamically, it’s even better and courageous to speak up against an unjust person rather than keeping silent. Difficult to do but it’s worth it at the end. In this case, silence is golden when voices are raised up high against evil of all sorts.

    Keep up the good works, IWA. May Allaah make your da’wah, through the power of words, shine far and wide, aameen.
